PM Modi’s Pakistani sister Qamar Mohsin Sheikh will tie him a ‘rakhi’

Pakistani-origin Qamar Mohsin Sheikh will travel to Delhi to tie Prime Minister Narendra Modi a rakhi.

She had to break the 30-year-old tradition during the COVID-19 pandemic, but still sent the ‘rakhi’ by post.

Sheikh, who currently lives in Ahmedabad, said she will also give Modi a book on agriculture. The two first celebrated ‘Raksha Bandhan’ when Modi was an RSS worker.

“I pray for him every day for his good health and long life. I believe that all my wishes come true. Earlier when I prayed for him to be the Chief Minister of Gujarat and he became,” Sheikh told the news agency ANI.
