The Parliament saw some light-hearted moments on April 4 as Amit Shah spoke on a Bill.

The Union Home Minister was speaking on the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Bill and Model Prison Manual, when a funny exchange with an Opposition MP occurred.

Accused of talking in a reprimanding tone, Shah said, "I never reprimand anyone. My voice is a bit loud. It's a manufacturing defect. I don't ever get angry. I only get angry on the Kashmir issue."

During the discussion, Shah defended the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Bill by saying that it would ensure that authorities remain two steps ahead of criminals.

He said that human rights concerns have been addressed in the Bill, and the Opposition should also consider the rights of those targeted by criminals. Shah said data will be stored in a protected hardware and those "who send samples (for matching) will be sent results and data will not be shared".
