On the 11th day of the Ukraine-Russia war, the Indian embassy in Hungary issued an urgent message for Indian nationals.

The embassy said that the last leg of flights under Operation Ganga is being conducted on March 6. The embassy asked all the Indian students staying in their own accommodation, and not in places arranged by the embassy, to reach the Hungaria city centre in capital city Budapest between 10 am and 12 pm local time on March 6.

Meanwhile, the Indian diplomatic mission in Ukraine initiated a fresh push to identify Indians still stuck in the war-torn country. The embassy tweeted a Google form to be filled an on "urgent basis" by all Indians still in Ukraine.

The form had sections like email, name, age, gender, passport number, location, address of present stay, contact number in Ukraine, contact number in India, and additional number of Indians staying with the person filling the form.

A day earlier, the Indian government had said that Sumy city in eastern Ukraine remains the biggest focus and also cause of concern. Many students stuck in Sumy have been unable to leave due to fierce fighting, even as they struggle with lack of food and water and other necessities. On March 4, the Indian government had estimated that there were around 700 students in Sumy.
