Ukraine war: PM Modi reviews India's border security as govt shifts embassy to Poland amid Russian attack

With the situation worsening in Ukraine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, or CCS, in Delhi on March 13.

The meeting came amid the Indian government's announcement that it is relocating its Ukrainian embassy to a neighbouring country. The Ministry of External Affairs said that due to the "deteriorating security situation in Ukraine", the Indian embassy is being "temporarily relocated" to Poland. The government cited attacks in western Ukraine for the decision, and added that the "situation will be reassessed in the light of further developments".
