Watch: Mumbai man escapes death despite being run over by bus

In what can be described as no less than a miraculous escape, an elderly man emerged unscathed after a bus mowed him down.

CCTV footage from Mumbai's Powai area shows a bus hitting the man from behind in broad daylight while he was trying to cross a crowded lane.

He cheated death by lying flat between the tyres, while the bus continued to move forward after running over him.

The video shows the man stumbling after the bus knocked him down. He tries to get up but fails and ends up under the bus.

Several passersby alert the driver and ask him to stop the bus. Soon after, the man is seen walking up to the driver to register his protest. As per India Today, no police case been lodged in connection with the incident yet.
