Woman gets Rs 490 bill for chai-samosa at Mumbai airport

The price of two samosas, chai and a bottle of water stunned a traveller at Mumbai airport after she was charged Rs 490 for the items.

Sharing her experience, Farah Khan who identifies herself as a journalist on her Twitter bio posted the bill photo on social media with the caption, "Kafi ache din aa gae hain"

This prompted a flood of reactions on social media. While some netizens asked Khan if this was her first time since food has always been highly priced at airports, others called for a price limit. One user even replied to the post with an article explaining why food inside airports in expensive.
