Published in the journal Sleep Health, people who take regular naps at work are more productive and creative. 

Do you often take naps at work? Research says this about you

A new study found that people who take regular naps at work are more productive and creative.

Published in the journal Sleep Health, the researchers, looked at data of over 35,000 participants in the British Biobank survey.

A meta-analysis of 54 research reports from 2002 to 2020 found that 'afternoon naps have a small to medium benefit over multiple cognitive tests'.

In fact, organisations including Nike and Google let employees take a daytime snooze to increase their creativity at work.

The study authors also concluded that daytime naps between 30 and 60 minutes have a moderate to high effect on athletes, improving cognitive as well as physical performance.
