President Droupadi Murmu played the role of gracious host by organizing a splendid G20 Gala Dinner at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Saturday evening. This grand gathering was attended by an illustrious array of global leaders, all arriving at the venue in style and many were seen in Indian ethnic attires.

President Murmu, in a splendid nod to India's cultural diversity, graced the event in a traditional beige saree adorned with a striking turquoise border. The saree was a tapestry of vibrant, handcrafted floral patterns, adding a lively and colourful touch to her ensemble.

Not to be outdone, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a noteworthy wardrobe change for this grand dinner. He transitioned from his earlier black bandhgala jacket to a V-neck striped jacket, exuding a blend of sophistication and contemporary style, mirroring his adaptability on the global stage.

In a stylish arrival at Bharat Mandapam, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murty, made a striking fashion statement. Rishi Sunak chose to wear a sharp black suit paired with a maroon tie, exuding a classic and formal charm that highlighted his impeccable taste in attire.

Meanwhile, Akshata Murty showcased her distinctive fashion sense, seamlessly blending elements of tradition and modernity. Her attire featured a captivating multi-hued dress adorned with intricate ethnic motifs, symbolizing a harmonious fusion of cultural heritage and contemporary aesthetics.

Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and his wife, Kobita Jugnauth, graced the grand dinner. Kumar Jugnauth made a distinguished appearance in a black bandhgala-inspired ensemble, projecting a blend of formality and cultural richness. His wife, on the other hand, radiated grace in a saree accentuated by a dazzling blouse, combining tradition with a hint of contemporary allure.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina showcased ethnic elegance in a lilac saree complemented by a pearl necklace.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida made a stylish statement at the gala in a classic black suit accentuated by a royal blue tie, exuding a blend of formality and sophistication. His wife, Yuko Kishida, opted for a captivating saree, beautifully adorned with intricate golden details and perfectly complemented by a pink satin blouse.

French President Emmanuel Macron wore a dapper black suit.

Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, made a stylish entrance at the gala dinner, donning a black kurta set gracefully paired with a mauve stole.
