Study reveals 50% of employees leave because of their managers

According to a study conducted by Gallup, 50 per cent of employees leave a job because of their managers and to improve their overall life at some point in their career.

During the research, Gallup surveyed over 7,000 employees to examine how their managers’ behavior impacts engagement and overall work life. They found that bad managers have a huge effect on retention and engagement.

50 per cent of the employees said they left their jobs because of bad managers and 70 per cent stated that managers are responsible for how engaged they feel at work.
