In an exciting development for American cricket, the USA cricket team has included former New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson in their 15-man squad for the forthcoming T20 International (T20I) series against Canada. This move comes as the USA prepares to co-host the T20 World Cup with the West Indies in June, marking a significant phase in the buildup to the tournament.

Anderson, whose international career with New Zealand spanned 13 Tests, 49 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 31 T20Is, last represented the Kiwis in 2018. His wealth of experience at the international level is expected to bring valuable insights and performance to the USA team.

The USA vs Canada T20I series is scheduled to run from April 7 to 13 in Houston, Texas. This series not only offers the USA team crucial competitive play ahead of the T20 World Cup but also strengthens the cricketing ties between the neighboring nations.
