'Have been judged by people who...': Prithvi Shaw reacts after 383-ball 379

A cracking 383-ball 379. Prithvi Shaw made heads turn when he played an incredible knock during a Ranji Trophy match against Assam in Guwahati. The 23-year-old though has been in form across forms but a place in any Team India squad has still eluded him. He, after his incredible performance, was asked about his 'Hope you are watching everything Sai Baba' post on Instagram which he posted as a story after he was left out from the tours of Bangladesh and New Zealand.

In his response, he however clarified that the post was not targeted and called it a deeply personal thing.

Shaw who last represented India in July 2021 further lamented, 'You know you are doing your things right. You know you are doing your processes right, you are honest with yourself, disciplined with your career on and off the field. But sometimes people do talk differently. People who don't even know you judge you'

In Indian first-class cricket history, Shaw after his prolific innings now has the second-highest individual score after Bhausaheb Nimbalkar's 443 who played for Maharashtra and accumulated the massive score against Kathiawar in Pune back in 1948-49.
