HISTORIC! Ryan Burl shines as Zimbabwe shock Australia Down Under

History was made on Saturday morning in Townsville when Zimbabwe defeated the mighty Aussies in their own backyard for the first time in their history.

All-rounder Ryan Burl was the star of the show, picking up 5/10 to dismiss Australia cheaply. He completed his fifer in just 18 balls, the second-fewest deliveries taken for a 5-wicket haul in men's ODIs since 2001.

The Aussies were bowled out for a paltry 141 and it was truly a shock for the hosts, considering David Warner single-handedly scored 94 of them, the second highest percentage of runs by a batter for his team in an innings.

In reply, Zimbabwe were also made to sweat hard but captain Regis Chakabva kept his cool, scoring an unbeaten 37 to take his side over the line. The 3-wicket win for the visitors was their first Down Under.

Zimbabwe have been in good form lately. They defeated Bangladesh at home before running India close in the final one-dayer of their 3-match series. And the win against Aaron Finch’s side is surely another big shot in the arm for them.
