T20 World Cup 2022 Afghanistan full schedule : Afghanistan will begin their ICC T20 World Cup 2022 campaign against England in the Super 12 round at Perth Stadium on October 22, Saturday. This will be Afghanistan's sixth appearance in the T20 World Cup. They are placed in Group 1, consisting of England, New Zealand, Australia and two more teams from Group A and B of the qualifying round.

The Afghanistani team is a force to reckon with in T20 cricket as their players had matured quickly and grown in stature thanks to their continuous participation in domestic T20 leagues across the globe.

Though the Mohammad Nabi-led side is still not the title contenders but they can spoil the party of any big team on a given day.

In the previous edition of the T20 World Cup, Afghanistan managed to win only two of their five matches in the Super 12.

However, they can take inspiration from their superb wins over Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2022.
