The inclement weather conditions at Mount Maunganui could again play a spoilsport as there are chances of rainfall ahead of the start of the match.

After the first T20I in Wellington went down the drain, a new-look Team India under captain Hardik Pandya will be itching to get onto the park in the second match of the three-match series at Mount Maunganui on Sunday.

However, inclement weather conditions could again play a spoilsport as there are chances of rainfall ahead of the start of the match.

According to accuweather.com forecast, rains are expected in the morning and afternoon but the chances of precipitation are reduced significantly to just 34 per cent during the match.

Talking about the team dynamics, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan are likely to open the batting for India. While the middle order is likely to consist of Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant with captain Hardik Pandya playing the finisher's role.

In the bowling department, tearaway pacer Umran Malik is likely to find a place in India's playing XI along with Arshdeep Singh and Bhuvneshwar with Axar Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal being the two spin-bowling options.
