While his place in the national team is being put into question, Cheteshwar Pujara who got a fighting half-century on Day 3 of the 2nd Test to build a strong 111 run partnership along with Ajinkya Rahane feels, 'form is temporary but class is permanent'.

Pujara and Rahane's half-centuries kept India's battle alive who went on to set a 240 run target for the Proteas.

Saying that the team management supports him and Rahane, the middle-order batter revealed that both ignore the outside noise.

'We keep working hard, we have done well in the past and the team management showed a lot of faith in us and it has paid off', he said.

Under pressure Pujara whose 50 on Day 3 came after 7 innings, feels that now he is back in form and the graph will now only go higher.

'I think I have been batting well. It was one of those days where everything was going to my play and whenever I was getting a loose ball, I was trying to convert it', he added.
