The sensational Indian batter Virat Kohli equalled Sir Don Bradman's elite record as India posted a commendable score of 438 in the first innings of the 2nd Test against West Indies at the Queen's Park Oval.

Kohli, who missed out on a century in the previous Test, made amends with a polished 121 in 206 balls, his 76th hundred in 500 international appearances. With his first overseas hundred in nearly 5 years, Kohli emulated the Australian great, who had also scored 29 tons in his distinguished career.

He remains the fourth-highest Test centurion for India with only Sunil Gavaskar (34), Rahul Dravid (36) and Sachin Tendulkar (51) ahead of him.

Interestingly, Sachin Tendulkar too scored his 29th ton at the same ground.

Meanwhile, West Indies were 86 for 1 at stumps on Day 2 in reply to India's first innings 438 all out in the second Test. Indian bowlers were able to get just one West Indies wicket in the post-tea session with Ravindra Jadeja giving the breakthrough by dismissing opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul.
