IT'S GONE VIRAL! Twitter users congratulate Ashish Nehra after Rishi Sunak chosen as next UK PM

Ashish Nehra or Rishi Sunak?

The world of social media couldn't keep calm after Rishi Sunak, an Indian-origin Conservative Party leader, was chosen as the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Some users found the funny side of it all, highlighting Sunak's resemblance to former Indian pacer and IPL Champions Gujarat Titans' Coach Ashish Nehra.

Memes, posts, and some genuinely confused individuals have former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra's photo instead of Sunak's in their congratulatory messages.

It has become a meme fest, with users on Twitter getting Ashish Nehra to trend because of it all.

Rishi Sunak will be the first man of colour to hold this position and he will also be the youngest PM in UK's history. And even though Sunak hasn't taken the oath yet, Indians on the internet just can't keep calm.
