Pakistani & England greats come out in support of Virat Kohli

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has backed Indian cricketer Virat Kohli to once again return to his old self as a batsman.

While a good inning across formats has eluded the ex-skipper for a long time now, his poor performances have made him the talk of the town. On Friday, the 33-year-old batter posted a cryptic image captioned 'perspective' on his Instagram.

Responding to it, Pietersen lauded Kohli for his achievements and went on to back the out-of-form batter. 'You go big guy!, people can only dream about what you have done in cricket, and they're some of the best players that have played the game', he wrote in his Twitter post.

In another post, the Englishman asked Virat Kohli to, 'be proud, walk tall and enjoy life'.

The Rawalpindi Express, Shoaib Akhtar too extended his support to Kohli and asked 'people to swallow their anger against the ex-skipper's poor form'

On his Youtube channel, the former Pakistani cricketer said, the 70-hundreds weren't scored in aunt's backyard or while playing the candy crush video game.

Earlier, Virat Kohli had shared an image of himself where he can be seen sitting in front of a picture that had 2 wings and a powerful message written over it. 'What if I fall... Oh my darling, what if you fly', the message read.

Kohli's last international ton came in November 2019 and since then the
once-flamboyant batter's form has only drooped.
