Highlights! U19 World Cup: Indian born ambidextrous spinner helps Australia beat West Indies

Australia kick-started its Under-19 World Cup campaign with a comfortable 6-wicket win over hosts West Indies on Friday.

Windies' decision to bat first backfired as they found themselves 3 down with just 12 runs on the board. Ackeem Auguste though played a captain's innings, making a gritty 57. However, Indian born ambidextrous spinner Nivethan Radhakrishnan took 3 wickets and restricted the Windes to 169.

The Aussies had an early scare as they were reduced to 21/2. But Teague Wyllie dropped anchor and guided his side over the finish line with an unbeaten 86. Radhakrishnan came good with the bat as well and remained unbeaten on 31. Australia won with 5.1 overs to spare.
