WI vs ENG 3rd T20I: Powell's century helps West Indies beat England by 20 runs in a high-scoring game

Rovman Powell's 10 sixes blitz helped the hosts West Indies took a 2-1 lead against England in the five-match series after winning the third T20I by 20 runs.

In a high-scoring game that saw overall 428 runs scored in 40 overs, England stand-in captain Moeen Ali asked West Indies to bat first and got an early breakthrough.

But the hosts did not stop their power-hitting as Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell came together and stitched a 122-run partnership for the third wicket.

Powell went on to complete his century as he scored 107 runs in 53 balls while Pooran scored 43-ball 70 to power West Indies for a mammoth 224-5 in 20 Overs.

Chasing 225, opener Tom Banton gave England hope of pulling off its third-highest chase ever with a 39-ball 73 but his dismissal left the tourists needing 96 from 45 deliveries before Phil Salt 24-ball 57 kept the visitors' hopes alive.

Salt brought the equation down to 36 in an over, flaying the first two deliveries for six en route to a 22-ball 50 before being bowled.
