World Test Championship Points Table 2023-25: Team India would have fancied their chances of grabbing a full 24 points in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle on Monday but the rain had other plans.

The torrential downpour in Trinidad came in their way of potentially winning the second Test against West Indies and completing a 2-0 series whitewash.

To secure the maximum points (12) and a 100% percentage of points from the match, India needed to bowl out West Indies on the final day. In WTC, winning teams are awarded 12 points per match.

Unfortunately, with the match ending in a draw due to the rain, India could only manage four points according to the points distribution. In the event of a tie in the WTC cycle, the 12 points are equally divided between the two teams. The rankings are determined based on the percentage of points won in the WTC.

Despite their victory in the first Test, the 1-0 verdict against West Indies was not the ideal result they had hoped for, considering the challenging tours that are coming up against South Africa and reigning WTC champions Australia, along with a formidable home series against England.

WTC Points Table 2023-2025

India finished the series with 16 points and 66.67 percentage points (PCT) in the WTC standings 2023-25. Pakistan team is in Top postion.

1. PAKISTAN (PCT - 100%)

2. INDIA (PCT - 66.67%)

3. AUSTRALIA (PCT - 54.17%)

4. ENGLAND (PCT - 29.17%)

5. WEST INDIES (PCT - 16.67%)

6. BANGLADESH (PCT - 0)

7. NEW ZEALAND (PCT - 0)

8. SOUTH AFRICA (PCT - 0)

9. SRI LANKA (PCT - 0)
