Arsenal unveil Arsene Wenger's statue to celebrate his remarkable contributions to the club

English Club Arsenal proudly unveiled a statue of their former manager, Arsene Wenger, at their home ground in north London on Friday.

The club acknowledged Wenger's exceptional and enduring impact during his 22-year tenure from October 1996 to May 2018, which led to tremendous success for The Gunners.

Under Wenger's guidance, Arsenal secured three Premier League titles, including an unbeaten season, won seven FA Cups and enjoyed 20 consecutive years in the UEFA Champions League.

Beyond his accomplishments on the field, Wenger's influence extended to various aspects of the club. He played a vital role in designing and establishing the London Colney training center, and his vision significantly contributed to the move from Highbury to the Emirates Stadium in 2006.

The life-size bronze statue, weighing approximately half a tonne and standing 3.5 meters high, now graces the Emirates Stadium, fixed outside the North Bank stand. It captures Wenger in the act of lifting the Premier League trophy, a feat he accomplished in 1998, 2002, and 2004.

The sculpture, meticulously crafted by the award-winning sculptor Jim Guy, serves as a fitting tribute to Wenger's remarkable achievements and legacy at Arsenal.
