Champions League: RB Leipzig restrict Manchester City to 1-1 draw; Inter beat Porto 1-0

Despite having the game under control in the first half, Manchester City faltered yet again as RB Leipzig held them back to a frustrating 1-1 draw at home in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Riyad Mahrez found the net in the 27th minute owing to the German side's mistake. It seemed that the Citizens will cruise their way into the quarterfinals, the Red Bulls, however, had other plans. In the 70th minute, Josko Gvardiol headed the equaliser as none of the teams could find the winner and the tie remains in the balance ahead of the next leg which will take place next month.

City, last week as well, failed to make it to the finish line as Nottingham Forest held them to a 1-1 draw in Premier League.

Meanwhile, in the other champions League game, Romelu Lukaku's 86th minute was enough for Inter Milan to register a 1-0 win against Porto in the first leg of the round of 16 game.
