EPL Round up: Alejandro Garnacho scores extra-time winner for Man United; Aston Villa beat Brighton 2-1

Alejandro Garnacho found the net in the third minute of stoppage time as Manchester United registered a dramatic 2-1 win against Fulham in the final Premier League game just before the World Cup break.

Marco Silva's men were just minutes away from restricting the Red Devils to a draw at Craven Cottage, but the Argentine teenager came off the bench to spoil the hosts' plans.

After Christian Eriksen's goal in the 14th minute was levelled by former Red Devil Daniel James in the 61st minute, the Danish footballer set the goal for the 18-year-old Garnacho in the 93rd minute. With his first Premier League goal, Garnacho won all 3 points to help United maintain their 5th spot in the EPL table.

Before going into the FIFA World Cup 2022 break, Brighton also lost 1-2 to an ever-improving Aston Villa. While Alexis Mac Allister provided the Seagulls with the perfect start in the first 60 secs itself, Danny Ings first equalised it in the 20th minute with a strike from the penalty spot. And then, the Englishman doubled it with a goal in the 54th minute. With the new-found boost under manager Unai Emery, Villa climbed to the 12th spot on the Premier League table.
