PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma attacked and robbed at home in Paris

Italian football star Gianluigi Donnarumma, who currently plays for Paris St-Germain, and his partner faced a terrifying ordeal when they were attacked and robbed at their residence in Paris.
The incident occurred in the eighth district, situated in the heart of the French capital, where the couple was targeted by multiple assailants and held captive in their flat.

According to French media reports, the couple managed to escape to a nearby hotel after the attack. The hotel staff promptly raised the alarm, and both Donnarumma and his partner were taken to the hospital for medical attention.

While details of the robbery are still emerging, unconfirmed reports on Actu17, a news site, suggest that the attackers fled with valuable items, including jewelry, watches, and luxury leather goods, amounting to an estimated €500,000.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, 24, suffered minor injuries during the incident, while his partner, the model Alessia Elefante, remained unharmed. The couple is understandably shocked by the traumatic event but is cooperating with the authorities in their investigation.

The prosecutor's office has initiated a thorough inquiry into the matter, with France's specialized BRB police unit, responsible for handling armed robberies and burglaries, leading the investigation.
