Benfica vs PSG

Despite a stunning Lionel Messi goal, Benfica managed to restrict Paris Saint Germain to a frustrating 1-1 draw in their Group H Champions League clash in Lisbon. The Argentine with his opening goal in the 22nd-minute set yet another record - becoming the first player in UCL history to score goals against 40 different opponents. The lead, however, got cancelled after PSG's Danilo Pereira struck an Enzo Fernandez cross into his own net.

Manchester City vs Copenhagen

Erling Haaland took the centerstage yet again in Manchester City's 5-0 thrashing of Copenhagen in their Group C UCL game. The Norwegian footballer who scored both his goals before halftime has now scored 28 Champions League goals in 22 games. The Danish side further suffered as Mahrez and Alvarez scored in the 2nd half after David Khocholava had conceded an own goal in the 39th minute.

Chelsea vs AC Milan

An injury-stricken AC Milan was no match for the dominant Chelsea as they pipped the Italian side 3-0 to register their first Champions League win of the season. While Wesley Fofana opened the scoring, Aubameyang and Reece James scored a goal each to help Graham Potter's side go 2nd in Group E.

Juventus vs Maccabi Haifa

It was a hat-trick of assists for Angel di Maria as Juventus defeated Maccabi Haifa 3-1 in their Group H UCL game. Adrian Rabiot (35', 83') and Dusan Vlahovic (50') netted goals to help Juventus earn their first points in the ongoing UCL season.

Real Madrid Vs Shakhtar Donetsk

Real Madrid handed Shakhtar Donetsk a 2-1 defeat in their Group F Champions League clash. Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior scored one goal each in the first half to keep the La Liga side atop the Group F standings.

Sevilla Vs Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund tamped down Sevilla with a 4-1 drubbing in their Champions League Group G game. Jude Bellingham scored one and assisted Guerreiro's 6th min opener, Adeyemi and Brandt too found goals to help the German side maintain their 2nd spot in the group.

Immediately after the game got over, Sevilla sacked boss Julen Lopetegui, ending his 3-years of service at the Spanish club. While the club is expected to announce the return of Jorge Sampaoli, Lopetegui might join English team Wolves as their new manager.
