Cricket World Cup Final Highlights: Travis Head haunts India yet again as Australia lift 6th World Cup title

Heartbreak for Team India!

Travis Head was the star of the show for Australia as the serial winners lifted their 6th World Cup title.

The hosts were completely outplayed by the Australians in the World Cup final in Ahmedabad.

Only when Rohit Sharma was batting, India looked in control. But the captain's downfall in the first innings for 47 saw India succumb to pressure on a slow track at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

While Virat Kohli made 54 and KL Rahul top-scored with 66, India could only garner 240 runs, a score that simply wasn't enough.

There was hope when India reduced the Aussies to 47/3 but Travis Head rose to the occasion and how! With dew to aid the batting, the southpaw smashed a sensational hundred to take the game away from India in a jiffy.

Combined with Labuschagne, the duo put together a 192-run partnership to sink the Men in Blue and give Australia a record-extending 6th title.
