Mohd Siraj back as the No. 1 ODI bowler in the world as Shaheen Afridi drops to No. 5 | Cricket World Cup

Mohammed Siraj regained his no. 1 ICC ODI bowler ranking on November 8th as he took his tally past 700 points.

Following a bunch of ordinary performances, Siraj returned to top form against Sri Lanka, scalping 3 wickets. He then went on to take two against South Africa at the ongoing Cricket World Cup.

Archrivals Pakistan's ace bowler Shaheen Afridi, who occupied the top spot last week, fell down 4 positions, with his points tally now at 658.

Kuldeep Yadav climbed up to number 4 while Jasprit Bumrah fell to no. 8.

Meanwhile, in-form Mohammed Shami made an entry into the top 10 as he also became India's highest wicket-taker in the history of ODI World Cups.

With Shami, a total of 4 Indian bowlers are currently in the top 10 of ICC's ODI bowlers list.
