IND vs AUS: Squad announced for remaining 2 Tests & 3-match ODI series

The 17 members of the Indian squad who won the previous 2 Tests of the Border Gavaskar series have been retained for the remaining 2 Tests of the 4-match series against Australia, BCCI announced on Sunday.

The Indian board also named an 18-member squad for the 3-match ODI series vs Australia that is scheduled to begin on 17th March. For the first ODI, however, Hardik Pandya has been named as the captain as Rohit Sharma will miss it due to personal commitments, BCCI informed.

Ravindra Jadeja who had injured his knee during Asia has also been named in the squad. The all-rounder who has had an amazing run in the ongoing Test series had last played in the 50-over format in July 2022 vs England.

On the back of his brilliant performance in domestic cricket, Jaydev Unadkat has also made his return to the ODI side. The Saurashtra captain who played his last ODI on 21st Nov 2013 is also a part of the Rohit Sharma-led squad.
