India vs Pakistan: Indian bowlers on fire as Babar Azam's men crumble to 191-all out

It was a hurricane of the Indian bowlers that ran through the Pakistan batting line-up in the first innings of their 2023 ODI World Cup clash in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

Put in to bat first, Pakistan were cruising along steadily till Mohammed Siraj drew first blood, sending Abdullah Shafique back in the 8th over.

Just five overs later, Hardik Pandya said a little prayer, bowled a delivery and off went Imam-ul-Haq.

For the next 15 odd overs, skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan stitched up 50-run partnership for the 4th wicket.

Azam also scored his first half-century of the tournament in 58 balls but his success was short lived. Mohammed Siraj returned in the 30th over to clean bowled him.

After that, the Indian bowling line-up left nothing to chance. Mohammad Rizwan was the next to go as Jasprit Bumrah claimed the first of his two wickets.

Except for Shardul Thakur, each of the pacers and the two spinners scalped two wickets each.

From 155-2 in 29.2 overs to 191-10 in 42.5 overs, the downfall of Pakistan was too rapid to register.
