RCB needed 103 runs in the last 10 overs and Virat looked good for another IPL ton. But Will Jacks went berserk to win the game from there on single-handedly and went on to smash his maiden IPL ton.

Will Jacks' maiden century and Virat Kohli's superb 44-ball 70 led RCB to their second consecutive victory of the ongoing season as the visitors defeated Gujarat Titans by 9 wickets.

After being asked to bat first, Gujarat Titans had a poor start as Wriddhiman Saha lost his wicket in the first over and skipper Shubman Gill also departed after scoring 16 runs.

In came Sai Sudarsan and he Along with Shahrukh Khan, who was promoted up the order stitched a partnership of 84 runs with Shahrukh Khan playing the role of an aggressor and played a knock of 58 in 30 deliveries.

Sai Sudarsan was joined then by David Miller and GT reached the 200-run mark with a six in the last delivery of their innings.

Coming to the chase, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis began aggressively as the duo added 40 runs for the first wicket before the RCB skipper was dismissed.

Will Jacks joined Virat Kohli on the crease and from there on, It was all carnage as the GT bowler failed to add any more wickets in the wicket column and in this process, Virat Kohli also crossed the 500 run mark in the ongoing season.

RCB needed 103 runs in the last 10 overs and Virat looked good for another IPL ton. But Will Jacks went berserk to win the game from there on single-handedly and went on to smash his maiden IPL ton.

Will Jacks, who was once batting on 17 from 17 deliveries had other plans. He smashed 29 runs off Mohit Sharma's 15th over and 28 runs off the 16th over which was bowled by Rashid Khan. Jacks raced to his maiden IPL century with a monstrous six and with that, RCB secured its 3rd victory of IPL 2024.

With this victory, RCB still has a glimmer of hope of making it to the playoffs of the tournament whereas there as worrying signs for Gujarat Titans as the 2022 champions have won just 4 games out of 10.
