Two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra has officially tied the knot with Himani Mor, a former tennis player, in an intimate wedding ceremony. The javelin star shared the joyous occasion on social media on Sunday, January 19, expressing gratitude for the new chapter in his life.

"Started a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after," Neeraj wrote in his post, accompanied by heartwarming pictures from the ceremony.

The wedding took place in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, with only close family members attending. The couple is currently on their honeymoon in the United States, and a grand reception is expected in India once they return.

Neeraj, who kept the wedding details private, surprised fans by sharing photos, including a special moment where his mother blessed him at the ceremony.

This milestone comes after Neeraj’s remarkable achievements in athletics, including winning a silver at the Paris Olympics, following his historic gold in 2021, making him the first Indian to win an Olympic gold in track and field.

Who is Himani Mor?

Himani Mor, originally from Sonipat, Haryana, is a former tennis player. She played at Miranda House, Delhi University, before pursuing a career in Sports Management at Southeastern Louisiana University. She is currently working as a graduate assistant and team manager for the women's tennis team at Amherst College in Massachusetts, where she handles coaching, venue management, recruiting, and strategic planning.

The wedding was met with an outpouring of congratulations from celebrities, including former cricketer Suresh Raina, who wished the couple a future filled with "beautiful memories and unwavering companionship."

Neeraj, who recently competed in the Diamond League, is now focusing on his personal life, celebrating his love with Himani.
