Asian Games 2023 India Schedule Sep 29: Medal events- Shooting, Athletics, Squash, Tennis; Day 6 timings

Day 6 will mark the start of athletics and India will have a chance of adding to their medal haul in 4 track and field events on September 29.

After a successful day 5 at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, India will be looking to add more medals to their tally on September 29, with several medal events taking place in shooting, athletics, squash and tennis.

Day 6 of the Asian Games will also mark the start of athletics events and India will have 11 athletes participating across several events all through the day. While Sandeep Kumar and Vikash Singh will feature in the men's 20km race walk final, Priyanka Goswami will be part of the women's event, with both events starting at 4:30 am IST. India will also have other participants in other medal events later in the day - Rachna Kumari and Tanya Chaudhary in Women's Hammer Throw, and Kiran Baliyan and Manpreet Kaur in Women's Shot Put.

In Shooting, India have won 13 medals already at the Asian Games but they will have the opportunity to add to their medal rush on day 6. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Swapnil Kusale and Akhil Sheoran will feature for India in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions while Esha Singh, Divya TS and Palak will take part in the women's 10m Air Pistol events.

In squash, India are assured of bronze in both men's and women's team events, but the colour of the medal can change depending on how they fare in the semifinals on Friday. In tennis too, Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan will play the gold medal match in men's doubles.
