Badminton: Doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty reach French Open final

Indian doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty reached the final of the French Open Super 750 badminton tournament with a straight games victory against the Korean combination of Choi Sol Gyu and Kim Won.

The Commonwealth Games Champions made light work of their semi-final that lasted 45 minutes, winning 21-18, 21-14.

The World No. 8 pair's superb attacking game and brilliant net play saw them outclass the 18th-ranked Korean duo.

Having won the Indian Open in January, this will be the second BWF World Tour Final for the pair this year. They had also reached the final of the French Open in 2019, where they lost to the Indonesian pair of Marcus Gideon & Kevin Sukamuljo.
