PV Sindhu stays 17th in the latest BWF rankings, Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Rankireddy still 2nd in the men's doubles rankings.

BWF Rankings: Shuttlers HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen continue climb; Satwik-Chirag stay second

Indian badminton stars HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen moved up in the latest BWF rankings after their semifinal finishes in the Japan Open Super 750 badminton tournament. Prannoy climbed one spot to the ninth position, while Sen rose two places to secure the 11th spot.

Both players put up a tough fight in the last four but lost to top opponents, Denmark's Viktor Axelsen and Indonesia's Jonatan Christie, respectively.

Meanwhile, former world number one Kidambi Srikanth also saw a slight advancement and is now ranked 19th. Additionally, the men's doubles duo, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, retained their world number 2 ranking in the latest chart.

On the women's side, PV Sindhu, the double Olympic medallist, maintained her position at number 17.

Indian women's doubles pair, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand, displayed an excellent performance as well, improving two spots to reach the 17th position in the rankings.
