With no visa in hand, the unvaccinated Serbian player who was first detained on January 6th following his arrival will now be deported. The 9-time Australian champion who was eyeing a record-breaking 21st Grand Slam will not be able to play Monday's match. The 34-year-old was to face Miomir Kecmanovic on Monday when the Australian Open begins.

The ace Tennis player who will be deported now fears a 3-year-long ban from Australia which implemented would mean that he could only play in Melbourne at the age of 37.
