Indian tennis veteran Rohan Bopanna concluded his remarkable Davis Cup journey on a high note, securing a comfortable straight-set win with Yuki Bhambri. This victory, followed by Sumit Nagal's triumph in the reverse singles, ensured India's victory against Morocco in the World Group II tie with a score of 3-1.

In his 33rd and final Davis Cup appearance, the 43-year-old Bopanna partnered with Bhambri to swiftly clinch a 6-2, 6-1 victory against Elliot Benchetrit and Younes Lalami Laaroussi at the Mini Stadium in Lucknow

Sumit Nagal, India's top singles player, displayed exceptional skills by defeating Yassine Dlimi with a score of 6-3, 6-3 in the first reverse singles, securing the home tie for India. Notably, Nagal has achieved a similar feat, winning both singles matches in a Davis Cup tie, previously against Pakistan in 2019.
