In the latest updated rankings issued on Tuesday, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have climbed up two spots to regain the top rank, with 99,670 points.

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, who recently won the Thailand Open after beating Chen Bo Yang and Liu Yi of China by 21-15 21-15, have reclaimed the top position in the latest BWF rankings.

In the latest updated rankings issued on Tuesday, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have climbed up two spots to regain the top rank, with 99,670 points.

The Indian duo now have two Thailand Open titles, having won their first back in 2019.

Regarding their performance against their Chinese opponents in the final, Satwik claimed they gave it their all.

"We knew that we could not relax even for a single point against our opponents as they fight till the end. But we played our best game of the tournament today and controlled the situation very well," Satwiksairaj said while addressing the media.

Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa, two Indians who advanced to the Thailand Open semifinals, have also moved up two spots, to rank 19.
