Here's what Bhuvneshwar said about India's bowling plan for the second T20I
"It was the first match of the series and everybody was coming out of the IPL, almost everyone in the team had a good IPL. Everyone knows what needs to be done and things to improve on."
"We are aware that we didn't bowl well in the first match. So we hope to improve, bowl well and level the series. We still have four matches to go, we have matches in hands to bounce back," he said."
In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar is leading the Indian pace attack in the ongoing five-match series.
India could not defend 212 as the rampaging South African duo of David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen struck half-centuries to hunt down the target with five balls to spare and go 1-0 up in the series.
"There wasn't any big discussion as anyone can have an off day. As a bowling unit, we had an off day but that's okay we just want to come back in the next match," Bhuvneshwar said.
David Miller took his IPL form into the five-match series and ripped apart Indian bowling line-up during the 1st T20I. And he remains India's biggest threat going into the second game.
Talking about India's plans for the explosive batter on the eve of 2nd T20I, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar joked that he hopes South Africa would drop him from the playing XI.
"It is difficult (bowling to Miller). He is in such good form. Main toh chahunga South Africa unhe drop kar de par wo aisa karenge nahi (I would want South Africa to drop him but they would not do so (laughs). He batted so well in the IPL, we know his calibre. Bowling to him would be a challenge," Bhuvneshwar said in the pre-match press conference.

Hardik Pandya, fresh after his historic success with Gujarat Titans, continued from where he left in the IPL.
Hardik, who last played for India in November last year in the 2021 T20 World Cup, dazzled with the bat with a 31 not out from 12 balls to propel the total past 200.

It may still be early days for Pant the leader, but his body language never stood out and he looked under pressure on his captaincy debut. He also made a debatable decision to under bowl the IPL Purple Cap winner Yuzvendra Chahal, fresh from claiming 27 wickets for runners-up Rajasthan Royals. At Kotla, the leggie bowled only two full overs.

Rishabh Pant will expect an improved show from the India bowlers as he plots a comeback against a South Africa in the second T20.
Leading India for the first time ever, Pant had to swallow a bitter pill when David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen shot down an imposing 212, to go 1-0 up in the series.
The southpaw also had a forgettable Indian Premier League where he failed to lead Delhi Capitals to the playoffs.

Ishan Kishan played a brilliant knock in the last match scoring 76 off 48 and would look to continue his good form in the second match as well. Hardik Pandya, who made his India comeback in the last match also played an outstanding innings scoring an unbeaten 31 off just 12 and he wouldn't want to miss chances against the Proteas ahead of the T20I world cup this year.
