Stoinis smashes second ball to extra cover for no run. He missed the next two balls too. But smashes a SIX and a FOUR as Lucknow lost the match by 3 runs 

Prasidh Krishna [3.0-0-16-1] is back into the attack and Stoinis smashes Lucknow back in the game as he hit two sixes and a four in the over.

Trent Boult [3.0-0-19-2] is back into the attack and concedes 11 runs.

Rajasthan keep taking wickets in the match, Chahal, this time, gets the prized wicket of Quinton de Kock, who went off in search of big runs as required rate jumps to 14 runs per over.

Marcus Stoinis arrives at th crease which expectation. He hits the first ball he faced towards sweeper cover for a single. Krunal moves across the stumps and tries to sweep Chahal fine but misses the ball completely, BOWLED. 

Dushmanth Chameera replaces Krunal in the middle and edges the last ball of the over towards third man boundary for FOUR.

de Kock hits the third ball towards deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs while taps the next towards cover-point region for a single. Ayush Badoni taps the 5th ball towards third man for an easy single.

Prasidh Krishna continues and gets the wicket of Jason Holder, who throws his wicket away in search of a big hit. Deepak Hooda arrives at the crease and starts his innings with a glorious cover drive.

Boult continues and de Kock drives the second ball towards deep extra cover. Holder edges the last ball through keeper for FOUR.

Prasidh Krishna bowls the second over and concedes only one run in the over.

He starts around the wicket and cleans up KL Rahul with a jaffa as Lucknow's captain fails to defend the inswinger. BOWLED. Gowtham replaces Rahul at the middles and edges the next ball to keeper, GONE. Jason Holder comes at the crease and survives the next two deliveries while hits the last ball for FOUR.

Rahul and de Kock at the crease. Rahul on strike. Boult opens the attack.

Parag collects a single off the first ball. Hetmyer smashes the second delivery towards deep mid-wicket for a SIX. He smashes the third ball towards long-on for a single.

Parag goes down on one knee and hits the full toss towards deep backward square leg for a SIX. Holder follows with a short delivery, Parag manages only top edge and Gowtham completes the catch at deep backward square leg. 

Boult smashes the last ball towards deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs. Hetmyer brings Rajasthan back in the game.

Avesh Khan bowls the penultimate over, Ashwin takes a single off the second ball and goes out of the field, retired OUT. 

Hetmyer cuts the third ball over third man for SIX while wallopes the next towrad mid-wicket for another SIX. Hetmyer reaches his FIFTY with that boundary.

Rajasthan 149-4 after 19 Overs 

Ashwin has went off the park and he is now considered retired out. He can not come out to bat in the remaining overs now.

Hetmyer wallopes the first delivery  towards mid-wicket for a big SIX. A swing and miss from Hetmyer.

Hetmyer flicks the 3rd ball over short fine leg for FOUR while hammers the next ball down the ground for second six of the over. Hetmyer keeps the strike with a single towards point region.

Avesh Khan comes back into the attack and Hetmyer collects a single off the first ball.

Avesh concedes only six runs in the remaining five deliveries.

After a lull in five overs, Ashwin uses his long handle and smashes Gowtham for two back-to-back BIG SIXES. Ashwin goes for the third as well but fails to get desired timing.

Hetmyer concedes four runs in remaining four deliveries.

Hetmyer defends the first ball while goes for a biggie off the second. Krunal Pandya drops the SITTER at long-on. A single taken. Gowthan concedes only three runs in the over.

Rassie van der Dussen arrives at the crease and guides the ball on the leg stump towards deep fine leg for FOUR. Dussen defends the last two deliveries as Holder concedes only six runs.

Avesh Khan comes into the attack and cleans up Jos Buttler first ball. Sanju Samson replaces Buttler at the middle. Avesh concedes only two runs in his first over.

Rajasthan 44-1 after 6 Overs

In a desperate need of a wicket, Rahul brings Ravi Bishnoi in the attack and Padikkal smashes the leggie for two back-to-back  boundaries. Bishnoi drops a SITTER and gives Padikkal a lifeline.

Rajasthan 39-0 after 4 Overs

Jos Buttler and Padikkal are finding the boundaries at regular intervals. They have scored 27 runs in first three overs.

Padikkal provides Rajasthan a flying start as the southpaw smashes two back-to-back boundaries in the Chameera's first over.

After registering a hat-trick of wins at the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022), Lucknow Super Giants are now preparing for their next match against the good-looking Rajasthan Royals.

LSG began their training session ahead of their fifth IPL match which is set to take place on Sunday at Wankhede stadium. Karan Sharma was seen hitting massive sixes in the nets. While speaking to Editorji, Karan said, "I'd be happy if I get selected in playing XI but I don’t focus on the selection as the team is winning already, I am focusing on the process." Deepak Hooda was seen practicing with coach Vijay Dahiya in the training session. Deepak Hooda said that the team wants to win every game and if they keep up the form, they can win the cup. In the bowling department, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi put up spirited show in the four matches and bamboozled many established T20 players with their pinpoint line and length. Meanwhile, addition of West Indian all-rounder Jason Holder has added greater depth in both bowling and batting departments

Riding on a hattrick of victories, Lucknow Super Giants will face Rajasthan Royals with the added power of Marcus Stoinis as the Australian cricketer has completed the quarantine and is set to appear in the first game of the IPL 2022.

The all-rounder had landed in India after the completion of Australia's tour of Pakistan. He joined the team after 3 days of quarantine and before Lucknow's fourth match against Rajasthan, Stoinis participated in his first net session with his new team on Saturday evening. Stoinis who looks in form during his first practice session said that he was thrilled to join the team. He also praised KL Rahul with whom he has played before in Punjab Kings.
