Earlier, a fabulous Jos Buttler innings with able support from Devdutt Padikkal, Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmeyer helped Rajasthan Royals post a daunting 218-run target for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Buttler smashed his 2nd ton of 2022 season as he got support from Samson with a 38 in 19 balls. Although, Kolkata in the later overs got 4 wickets in quick succession, the damage had already been done. Shimron Hetmeyer smashed 3 boundaries in the last over to make it to 217, the highest total of the season so far.
