IPL 2022,  SRH Vs LSG 2022 Highlights: Avesh Khan powers Lucknow to a 12-run win against Hyderabad

Despite the top-order failure, Lucknow set a decent 170-run target for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Deepak Hooda and KL Rahul fired half-centuries and Ayush Badoni's quick 19 helped the team post the target.

However, Badoni lost his wicket on the penultimate ball. 

Birthday boy T Natrajan plucks Krunal Pandya with a stunning yorker. 

T Natrajan removes KL Rahul after his stunning innings of 68 off 50 balls which included 7 boundaries. 

KL Rahul scores a brilliant 68 off 49. Badoni ably supports the skipper with 11 in 7 balls. 

Romario Shephard provides a breakthrough, sends back the fiery Deepak Hooda after he played a sensational inning of 51 off 33. 

Hooda smashed a total of 6 boundaries before Rahul Tripathi caught him. 

A boundary studded innings by KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda take Lucknow to 108/3 in 14 overs.

While Deepak Hooda hits 3 sixes and 3 fours, KL Rahul smashed 5 fours, and both players near the half-century mark for Lucknow Super Giants.

After hitting a 6 and a 4, Pandey walks back to the pavilion after Bhuvi caught him and Romario Shephard got his wicket.

Major blow for Lucknow, Washington Sundar sends back Evin Lewis as well. After surviving a scare in the 2nd over, Lewis lost his wicket in the following one.

Jason Holder comes in for Lucknow at Dushmanth Chameera's place

Jason Holder will prove to be LSG’s most important asset today as they are struggling in the bowling department, especially in the death overs. Holder has an excellent death-over record since IPL 2020, he has conceded 9.03 runs an over while taking 15 scalps in 14 innings at an average of 9.53.

Lucknow Super Giants(LSG) would look to continue their winning momentum when the KL Rahul-led side takes on Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) on Monday at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Lucknow are coming into the match with a majestic win over defending champions Chennai while Hyderabad faced a 61 runs drubbing from Rajasthan Royals in their first match.
