Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury slams BJP for politicising Sushant's death

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has slammed the BJP for politicising actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death for gaining electoral brownie points by emphasising on his Bihari identity.

The newly appointed West Bengal Congress president said that justice for Sushant should not be interpreted as justice for a Bihari.

Chowdhury tweeted that Rhea Chakraborty is a Bengali Brahmin and her father is a former military officer. Rhea's father is also entitled to demand justice for his kids, trial by media is an ominous portent for our judicial system, Chowdhury added.

He also criticised the investigation into the actor's death and said that central agencies are trying to please their political masters but they still haven't found the murderer.
