The acrimonious first presidential debate between incumbent President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden was chaotic to say the least.

But Biden sliding a smooth ‘inshallah’ as a retort to Trump showing his tax returns in the future touched a whole new chord with netizens.

After Trump answered that he paid ‘millions of dollars’ in federal income and will release his tax returns, Biden said ‘when? Inshallah’ using the phrase in its colloquial context meaning ‘never’.

Twitter was abuzz immediately over the usage of the phrase and Biden's subtle delivery.

An explosive New York Times report showed that Trump paid merely $750 in federal income taxes in 2016-17. The POTUS however maintains that he paid millions of dollars.
