Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Monday said that the second presidential debate scheduled in Miami should be postponed if President Donald Trump does not recuperate from Covid-19. Trump was diagnosed with Covid-19 last week and the next debate is scheduled for October 15.

Biden said future debates should follow 'very strict Covid-19 guidelines' and everyone would follow the advice of doctors if the debate commences.

In a tweet Tuesday morning, Trump indicated that he would not re-schedule the debate despite his infection.
