Well, it isn't a secret anymore as a Youtube channel which covers Bigg Boss related news and gossip, has now revealed the salaries of contestants and the amounts are shocking.
According to 'The Khabri' channel, the recently evicted Shehzad Deol was earning the lowest on the show with ₹50,000 per week, while TV actress Rubina Dilaik has reportedly signed the most lucrative contract.
Real-life couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are charging ₹5 lakh and ₹3 lakh per week, respectively.
'Khatro Ke Khiladi' fame Jasmin Bhasin, is charging ₹2.5 lakh per week.
'Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega' actor Nishant Singh Malkhani is charging ₹2 lakh per week.
TV actor Eijaz Khan is earning ₹1.70 lakh per week.
Touted to be one of the strongest contenders for the 'Bigg Boss 14', Pavitra Punia is earning ₹1.30 lakh per week.
Tollywood star Nikki Tamboli who is also a confirmed fresher in the show is bagging ₹1 lakh per week.
While, Bollywood singer and former Indian Idol contestant Rahul Vaidya is charging ₹90,000 per week, his opponent and the son of singer Kumar Sanu, Jaan Kumar Sanu is getting ₹85,000 per week.
However, the insider account didn't reveal the show's host and Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan's earnings from the show. The actor had recently said that he had taken a pay cut for the latest season of 'Bigg Boss' so that his remuneration doesn't add any pressure on the channel during Covid-19 pandemic.
