The 26th Kolkata International Film Festival has been rescheduled owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Taking to Twitter, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee&nbsp;revealed that the film fest which was scheduled for November this year, will now be held from January 8 to January 15, 2021.

In a pointed personal critique, Ranaut dismissed Mehta&rsquo;s creative work as inferior, labeling him insecure and mediocre. Her retort prompted Mehta, known for films such as "Shahid" and "Aligarh" and the highly acclaimed web series "Scam 1992," to reply with a succinct, "Get well soon."
Reflecting on past experiences, Mehta shared yesterday how similar incidents are not new in Maharashtra, recounting a personal ordeal from 25 years ago involving members of an undivided political party vandalizing his office and subjecting him to public humiliation over a film dialogue. This past trauma, he explained, had a lasting impact on his creativity and confidence.
Expressing his stance, Mehta emphasized that regardless of disagreements or provocations, violence and intimidation are never justified, advocating for dialogue and dignity instead.

The incident occurred on Monday when the vehicle she was traveling in, along with her sister and nephew, collided with a truck.
Despite the severity of the accident, Sonali Sood is reported to be in stable condition and is currently under observation at Nagpur's MAX Hospital.
