PV Sindhu pulls out of Denmark Open

Olympic Silver medallist PV Sindhu on Thursday withdrew from the Denmark Open Badminton tournament. Although she had decided to take part in the event which is scheduled to be held in Odense from October 13 to 18, the 25-year-old now plans to participate in the Asia Open I and Asia Open II scheduled in November. Earlier this week, the Badminton Association of India asked the players, participating in the tournament to submit a consent letter by Sept 17, stating that they would be travelling or participating on their own responsibility due to the current pandemic.
