Send bills to select committee: Sena, BJD and SAD in Rajya Sabha

The Shiv Sena, BJD and Akali Dal want the three agriculture bills to go to a select committee for further discussion.

Sena MP Sanjay Raut said, "PM has said that the government is not ending the MSP system. It is just a rumour. So, did a union minister resign on the basis of a rumour?"

SAD MP Naresh Gujral said, "Don't think that the farmers of Punjab are weak"

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a tweet asked, with the anti-agriculture 'black law' of Modi government, how will the MSP be received at the end of APMC or Kisan Market? Why MSP was not guaranteed? He added, PM Modi is making farmers 'slaves' of the capitalists, which the country will never let succeed.

Meanwhile, Congress MPs protested comments by YSRCP MP VV Reddy who called the grand old party a 'party of dalals'. Congress MP Anand Sharma has demanded an apology from him.
