Samsung unveils 2024 lineup of Odyssey OLED, ViewFinity, and Smart Monitor Series with AI features

Samsung, India’s largest electronics brand, has announced its 2024 lineup of monitors, including the Odyssey OLED gaming monitor, ViewFinity series, and Smart Monitor series. The new models come with advanced features and AI capabilities aimed at enhancing user experiences.

Features and Specifications in Detail

Samsung Odyssey OLED G6:
This gaming monitor features a 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It boasts a 360Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GtG response time, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming. The monitor includes Samsung OLED Safeguard+, a proprietary burn-in protection technology that uses a pulsating heat pipe to prevent image burn-in. The Dynamic Cooling System enhances heat diffusion, reducing the risk of burn-in by maintaining lower core temperatures. Additionally, the OLED Glare Free technology reduces reflections, preserving color accuracy and image sharpness.

Samsung Smart Monitor M8:
The 32-inch 4K UHD Smart Monitor M8 (M80D model) is equipped with the NQM AI processor, which upscales lower resolution content to nearly 4K. The Active Voice Amplifier Pro feature adjusts dialogue clarity based on ambient noise, while the 360 Audio Mode pairs with Galaxy Buds for immersive sound. The monitor also includes a built-in SlimFit Camera for video calls via Samsung Dex. The M8, along with the M7 and M5 models, supports Smart TV apps and Samsung TV Plus for direct access to streaming services.

Samsung ViewFinity Series:
Designed for creators and professionals, the ViewFinity S8 (S80UD and S80D models), S7 (S70D model), and S6 (S60UD and S60D models) monitors incorporate responsible manufacturing practices, including the use of recycled plastic and minimal chemical sprays. The monitors feature HDR10 support and can display 1 billion colors. The S8 offers 27-inch and 32-inch options with 4K UHD resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 350 nits brightness. It includes a USB hub and a height-adjustable stand. The S80UD model also has a KVM switch and a USB-C port with 90W charging capability.

The Odyssey OLED G6 is priced at INR 92,399. The Smart Monitor series starts at INR 15,399, while the ViewFinity range begins at INR 21,449.

All monitors will be available on the Samsung e-store starting June 5, 2024. Customers can also purchase them from Samsung Shop, Amazon, Flipkart, and leading retail stores.

Between June 5 and June 11, the Odyssey OLED G6 and Smart Monitor series will be available with a no-cost EMI and an instant cart discount of up to INR 2,750 on the Samsung e-store.

Additionally, buyers of the Smart Monitor M8 will receive a Samsung Sound Bar, while purchasers of the OLED G6 will get Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. On Amazon and Flipkart, there is a discount of up to INR 11,100 on these models.
